  • New and user-friendly connectivity options through direct integration into the bike display and the AIRsistant mobile app
  • Digital pressure gauge function for easy tyre pressure adjustment as an alternative to tyre inflation gauges
  • Real-time tyre pressure and temperature display
  • Pressure calculator for calculating the optimal tyre pressure for your bike
  • Customised and user-friendly operation
  • Navigation and route tracking
For schrader/auto valves

Scope of delivery includes two sensors and two valve stems with nuts for front and rear wheel as well as a valve core extractor and mounting spanner for easy installation

FAQ How do I activate the AIRsistant when using it for the first time?

The AIRsistant sensor is delivered deactivated and must be activated in order to display the data on the compatible device. To activate the AIRsistant sensor, install it on the wheel and inflate the tyre above 0.3 bar (4.35 psi). It may take up to 20 seconds for data to appear on your display device. As soon as the data appears on the display, the AIRsistant sensor is activated.

How are transmissions triggered by the AIRsistant?
Transmissions are triggered automatically by making at least a quarter turn with your wheel. The AIRsistant sensor also sends transmissions during inflation or deflation, which facilitates pressure adjustment and is a great alternative to tyre gauges.
How are transmissions from the AIRsistant stopped?

The AIRsistant sensor automatically stops transmission when it is stationary for 120 seconds. The AIRsistant sensor automatically switches off after 5 minutes of inactivity and restarts automatically as soon as you move the bike again.

How is data transmitted from the AIRsistant to a display device?

Data is transmitted via Bluetooth Low Energy.

How can data from the AIRsistant be displayed?

Data from the AIRsistant sensor can be displayed with the iOS or Android mobile AIRsistant app. It is also possible to display AIRsistant sensor data on a compatible GARMIN device.

Can the AIRsistant mobile app be used together with GARMIN devices?

The data measured by the AIRsistant sensor can be displayed on compatible Garmin devices. However, only one display device is allowed at a time. AIRsistant sensor data cannot be displayed in the AIRsistant mobile app and on a compatible Garmin device at the same time.

Is the AIRsistant compatible with all ANT devices?

No. The AIRsistant sensor transmits via Bluetooth to the AIRsistant mobile app and compatible GARMIN devices.

Why are the AIRsistant sensors not found or not shown in the list when connecting to the AIRsistant mobile app?

Make sure that the AIRsistant sensors are activated by turning the wheel for several seconds or changing the tyre pressure (deflating or inflating). The Bluetooth function on the phone must be switched on. For Android mobile phones, the location function (GPS) must be activated when you are connected for the first time. The mobile AIRsistant app should ensure both.

Can the AIRsistant also be used on tubeless wheels?

The AIRsistant sensor is compatible with tubular and tubeless systems.

For which pressures can the AIRsistant be used?

The AIRsistant sensor can measure tyre pressure in the range from 0.0 to 8.3 bar (0 to 120 psi).

For which tyre sizes can AIRsistant be used?

The AIRsistant sensor is compatible with tyre diameters from 20" to 29". For smaller tyres, compatibility depends on the spoke spacing.

Can AIRsistant be used for bikes with 3 or 4 wheels?

Yes. 2, 3 and 4 wheel bike profiles are available in the AIRsistant mobile app. AIRsistant sensors are available in double or single packs.

Does the AIRsistant affect the wheel balance?

No. The AIRsistant is compact and lightweight at only 21 grams per sensor.

Which valve types are compatible with the AIRsistant?

The AIRsistant sensor is compatible with Presta/ Sclaverand (SV) and Schrader/ Auto (AV) valves. Service kits are available if you want to continue using your AIRsistant sensors but need to change the valve.

Are AIRsistant secured against theft?

AIRsistant sensors are designed to work exclusively with a mobile app/system developed by Schrader and authorised partners. AIRsistant sensors are mounted and secured with the top lock nut to prevent theft.

At what pressure does AIRsistant warn?

The pressure warning levels can be set and adjusted by the user as required. It is recommended to warn when the tyre pressure deviates +/-20% from the desired tyre pressure. You can use the pressure calculator function in the AIRsistant mobile app for recommendations. The app issues a warning and shows the tyre in red colour if your tyre pressure goes below or above the predefined warning levels.

How accurate are the AIRsistant measurements?

The AIRsistant sensor measures very accurately with a pressure measurement accuracy of +/-1% of full scale and a resolution of 0.01 bar / 0.14 psi and a temperature measurement accuracy of +/-3°C and a resolution of 1°C.

How do you inflate the tyre on which the AIRsistant sensor is mounted?

You inflate the tyre the same way you normally would. The AIRsistant mobile app includes a digital pressure gauge function that reflects pressure changes on your display device, simplifying pressure adjustments and providing a great alternative to tyre inflation gauges.

Does the AIRsistant battery need to be replaced?

No, the AIRsistant sensor contains a lifetime battery of up to 5000 hours of operation. This makes AIRsistant a maintenance-free, fully sealed system that is optimal for off-road use.
